Known as Zé da Zitron, i José Ferreira (b.1977) i am from Vila Nova de Famalicão, i lived and worked in Lisbon for many years, but i currently live in Esposende.
From a very early age, the world of arts awakened a great fascination in me, i started drawing and painting from a very early age, around the age of 13, my mother supported and encouraged me to enter in this world.
Over the years i have always studied not only business/companies in various areas, but i have never forgotten this fanatical taste for the world of Design, Sculpture, Drawing and Painting.
The next thing i knew, i was offering work to friends, many of whom still have my work displayed in their homes and offices at their companies.
My work involves not having a defined technique, not having preferred materials or tools, not having fixed supports, as i don’t like compromises and considering what i do must be complete creative freedom.
My biggest problem, which has become an advantage, is my disability, as i suffer from color blindness, i am color blind (30%), however, even though i cannot distinguish a large part of the secondary colors, i have accustomed and educated my brain in order to gain more from it. It may seem strange, but everyone will certainly be able to see the results of my work.
Here on this website, i made a summary of 10% of my works, the most recent ones, however i believe that i can load the site more and more, with older works.
